Now that you have made your first splash page (or pages!), you can take things to the next level and make a squeeze page. A squeeze page works like a splash page, but it collects email addresses instead of clicks, so your autoresponder can send an email or a series of emails to interested parties. Oh no, you say, I'm not ready to build a list of subscribers! Really? It's not that hard! How about having a little play around with the idea? To begin with, you will need a free autoresponder. Here is a link to a simple one I use: JV-Marketers Free Pro Autoresponder Sign in, and make up a list name. Make a silly one if you want, it's just for practice, right? On the next page, go to "Get Signup Form Code" and click on "Generate Form Code" at the bottom. This is the code you will copy and paste into your splash page to make it into a squeeze page, so leave this tab open. Go to TE Toolbox and start a new splash page. Write a heading, and some compelling words. Then click on "View Source" at the bottom of the editor, and paste in your autoresponder form code. Click on "View Source" again, and Voila! there you have your first squeeze page! Do you see how easy it can be? Now you can add other details, such as an image of a free gift for your subscribers. You can use a table to put the image of the gift to one side of the email capture form. Just put the image in one box of the table, and the form code in the other.
